WHO WE ARE
The Denver Nuggets youth basketball department and its programs are referred to as the Denver Nuggets Basketball Academy and is led by the Youth Basketball Director, Calvin Myers. The Denver Nuggets Basketball Academy staff is comprised of a variety of basketball experts. Instructors include current and former college players as well as local coaches that are all USA Basketball licensed, and background checked.
Calvin coached his first basketball camp at the age of fourteen and fell in love with teaching the game to young people. His favorite sports are football and basketball, and his favorite Denver Nuggets players growing up were Antonio McDyess, Marcus Camby, and Nene. Calvin has been with Kroenke Sports & Entertainment (Denver Nuggets) since 2011.
The Denver Nuggets youth basketball coaches are former high school and college basketball players that are committed to growing the game they love! All have coached at the recreational, AAU, middle school, high school, collegiate level. All are USA Basketball licensed, background checked, and certified by the Positive Coaching Alliance.
